World Environmental Day 2020
College celebrated the World Environmental Day 2020 on June 5 th 2020. Lockdown due to
Covid 19 did not deter neither students nor Faculty from organising a daylong event online
where activities were conducted by the teaching fraternity for students. The theme resoluted for
World Environmental Day 2020 was biodiversity. Our planet is blessed to have diversified
species. Unfortunately, man is exploiting it in an unconditionally way to put an end to it.
Students enthusiastically participated from the different streams and highlighted their wishes to
enhance efforts towards preserving biodiversity and restoring fragmented ecosystem. It was very
appreciative to see the students manifesting their creative ideas in different events like
PowerPoint presentation, extempore, essay writing, Collage and Sketching.
